Prof. Carr: Auto Engineer can be used in parts of the Design and Technology Curriculum

Prof. Carr: Auto Engineer, although designed for science, physical processes, is suited to parts of the Design & Technology Curriculum.

Year 3: Research pneumatics & hydraulics.
Children can build their own hydraulic brakes, learn about pressure in fluids and liquids from experiments, and observe animations of power brakes assisted by pneumatic pressure.

Year 4: Correction of a circuit fault
Children build their own circuits in the electricity module, and correct faults.

Year 5: Researching cams
Children can see practical examples of cams and related mechanical devices.
